I’ve had a bad string of medical luck this month apparently. Last weekend I was sick with a cold, sneezing, coughing, head congestion, and feeling like general death. Hadn’t been feeling good up to that point either for about a week. Finally got over that and then up and jammed a toe yesterday. Ugh. I’ve now taped my toe up and got the swelling down. Still hard to walk on. I rarely have this kind of back luck…

Either way, that is not stopping me. My good buddy Mary and I are out on the road this weekend. Texas, New Mexico, Colorado, and into Utah. Looking forward to some much needed time on the open road in the middle of nowhere. Should return with beautiful photos.

A few things of an offering for the weekend = ) - One a zip file with a plethora of music that has just recently released - in no particular order and by no means a mix that makes sense. Take it or leave it. Clogs, April Smith, Rogue Wave, Broken Social Scene, Field Music,  Club 8, Efterklang, Balmorhea, etc.

The other is this wonderful NPR article on a plane graveyard in Arizona and it’s appeal from the sky.
