This is probably the worst photo I could have snapped. My small Leica has crapped out. I want to buy a Canon G10. Looks like I’ll be traveling later this month so it’s in the budget to grab one to document my travels. I shot the above shot with my Blackberry. I apologize in advance to the woman at the bottom making the funny face. My bad, i’ll take responsibility on that one!
I want to say thanks to the overwhelming number of people who came out to support my friends and I last night at the Broadway Wine Merchants opening downtown. Loren, Simone, Tim, and I can’t thank you enough. To Ryan, Jess, Scott, Ashlee, Brent, Dylan, Kate, Amber, Matt, Tiffany, Marco, and to everyone whose name I won’t remember, thank you soooooo much for coming out. We had FAR north of 200 people out there for the short 5 days notice we had. We had to stop letting people in for fire code reasons we had so many people!
I’m so happy and proud of David for his endeavor down at Broadway Wine. While I don’t like to play capitalism favorites here in the OKC, David has done an amazing job at opening a great wine and beer shop downtown. Every time I go there I’m welcomed with a warm smile. They treat their customers like family. They’re some of the nicest people in the city and awesome supporters of the arts. They were huge supporters of our Resound endeavor in even some of the smallest ways and I will never be able to repay them for their kindness.
I saw some of our favorite local news anchors out at the show and even our own Mr. Coyne out and about.
Again, thank you to absolutely everyone who came out and supported art and community with us. It means so much to me every time I see OKC come together in celebration! This city is extremely special to me.
to the very best of times, always
