Time for a nostalgia moment. If you’ve kept up with this blog back before I moved over to Tumblr you can probably skip this one, unless you’re just generally a Craig David fan.
Haven’t thought about or listened to Craig David in over a year, seeing as he’s released two albums since I last thought about him, a full LP in 2008 and a greatest hits in 2009!? The man is 28 years old, a mere 4 years older than me and already has a greatst hits. Good for him I suppose, he’s done super well for himself.
Not a huge fan of his latest record, and the greatest hits is what it is, but I took a moment last night to listen to his first two records which just have a place in my memory with a particular time and place in life. The kind of place that certain smells have where you’re instantly taken back to that moment, that place, that time, those friends.
